Michael Polsinelli


Michael Polsinelli is entering his fifth year of teaching and is excited to join the RDS community. Throughout his career he has coached a plethora of sports and possesses a life long passion for athletics. In addition to his coaching experience, he is passionate about social justice issues, leadership initiatives and technology based learning. Michael adopts a Teaching Games for Understanding approach towards Physical Education instruction and places a strong emphasis on students learning fundamental concepts and skills to achieve success in a variety of physical activities. Michael is a proud graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University’s B.A. Psychology program and the University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT) Consecutive Education program. Outside of the classroom, he enjoys participating in recreational sports, spending time with friends and family and hanging out with his dog, Ellie.
