Every Child is Unique

The Rosedale Day School creates an effective educational environment with progressive teaching strategies and methods to foster solid academic fundamentals for students. Furthermore, through independent work and play, RDS creates an environment where self-respect and achievements are attained. The students develop an awareness of community and a respect for others through cooperative endeavour. It is the RDS belief that students will have the opportunity to move on and succeed in any school system. Establishing and promoting each student’s abilities and interests is the fundamental goal of RDS elementary private school. We at RDS believe that this goal is best reached within a small, integrated and nurturing environment.

The School Motto “Quisque Infans Singularis Est” is a guideline for all members of our community. The understanding that “every child is unique” encourages self respect and pride in one’s efforts. This principle is the foundation of our school community where confidence is developed in the right educational environment and effort is encouraged and valued.
