Co-Curricular Program

Clubs

Our Co-curricular programs offer the ability for all students to be involved in a wide array of activities both competitive and non-competitive, arts and sports based, skilled and play based. We are committed to providing a rich and diverse extra-curricular program at every grade level. Clubs generally operate on a six-week schedule and are available to all students. These clubs are musical, artistic, scientific, active and much more. We do our best to listen to our student and parent body and provide clubs of interest. A list of clubs from last year can be found below.

Athletics

RDS aims to provide its students with a first-rate athletic experience. Each term, students have an opportunity to compete on a variety of competitive sports teams. Situated near the University of Toronto allows us to make use of their world-class Athletic Facilities. Depending on the team, students will find they are taking part in 2-3 practices a week, both before and after school. By competing on an athletic team, athletes are taught to appreciate the value of discipline, dedication, teamwork, and sportsmanship, while conducting themselves as representatives of the school.

The Rosedale Day School is a member of the Small Schools Athletic Federation (SSAF). This allows our students to compete against other member schools in various sporting events. In addition, we often set up exhibition matches against some of the larger CISAA schools within the GTA. Specific team information is outlined on our team sites menu. Should you be interested in learning more about any of our Co-curricular Programming (Athletics or Clubs), please contact our school’s Co-curricular & Athletics Coordinator, Tory Boeckh, for more information (tboeckh@rds-on.com).
