On Wednesday, February 26th, the 3rd seed Gryphons travelled to Northmount to take on the  2nd seed Knights in  SSAF Semi-Finals action.

Frustrated with their first half results, the Gryphons offense had seemingly run out of steam only scoring 6 points at the half, trailing 12-6.
The Gryphons found themselves down 22-12 with seconds to go in in the third, before veteran power forward, Carter Drynan knocked down a three at the buzzer, moving the Gryphons within 7.
In the fourth quarter, off the inbound, Drynan scored his second from behind the arch, swinging the momentum in the Gryphons favour.
With the season on the line late in the fourth, the once 10 point deficit was erased, as RDS took the lead for the first time in the game, 23-22.
The three-headed defensive monsters of Sean Campagna, Henry Clarkson-Firth and Ian Conway locked down the opposition throughout the fourth, as the Gritty Gryphons clawed from behind to take the win, 38-33.
With the win, the U14 Gryphons have swooped into the SSAF Final Four Tournament this Wednesday, March 4th.
Lets go, Gryphons!
